How do I stop the alarm?
Unlock your phone, open Mera Phone and tap Stop Alarm. It can't be turned off from the notification or the lock screen, so a thief can't silence it.

Can I use my own sound or my voice?
Yes. Go to Pick your scare > Your own sounds. Tap Add a file to pick an audio file from your phone, or Record voice to record up to 60 seconds. Then drag the handles to keep only the part you want, give it a name and tap Save. Tap the pencil on a sound to rename, re-trim or delete it. Everything stays on your phone.

The alarm goes off too easily (or not easily enough).
Go to Settings > Sensitivity and choose Chill, Normal or Paranoid.

The flashlight doesn't turn on.
Turn on Settings > Flashlight and allow the camera permission. It is only used for the flashlight, which stays lit while the alarm rings.

Does it work when the phone is locked?
Yes, on Android. While Guard or Pocket Mode is on you'll see a "Mera Phone is guarding your phone" notification, and it keeps watching even with the screen off. Allow notifications when asked so you can see that it is on. Some phones (for example Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo) kill background apps to save battery: if the alarm stops working when locked, set Mera Phone's battery setting to "No restrictions".
