Data Deletion
Your sounds, recordings, settings and alarm history (including saved alarm locations) are stored only on your phone. Our server keeps your Mera Phone account (Google name and email), your subscription if you have one, and app usage events. You can delete all of it.
Delete your Mera Phone account
- Open Mera Phone.
- Tap Settings > Account > Delete account and confirm.
Your account, name, email and usage events are deleted from our server straight away, and any subscription is cancelled so you are not charged again. Can't open the app? Email us from the address you signed in with and we will delete it for you.
Sign out
- Open Mera Phone.
- Tap Settings > Account > Sign out.
Your name and email are removed from the phone (your account on our server stays until you delete it). To also remove Mera Phone from your Google account, visit myaccount.google.com/connections.
Delete your alarm history
- Open Mera Phone.
- Tap Alarm history.
- Tap Clear history and confirm.
Delete all app data
- Open Android Settings > Apps > Mera Phone.
- Tap Storage > Clear storage.
Or simply uninstall the app. All of its data is removed from your phone immediately.
What is deleted and what is kept
Deleting your account removes your personal data and usage events from our server. Payment records (amount, date and payment ID) are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, without your name or email. Clearing storage or uninstalling removes everything on the phone, but does not delete your account on our server.
